I’d like to start off by saying Lila is great! I just moved to MO and have been on the search for my go to nail place and my girl that’s gonna have my hands looking great and today my search has come to an end. I showed her a photo and she recreated it beautifully, I was so happy I could literally cry! I went to 3 other shops in and within STL and I left unhappy at them all. She’s been doing nails for 18 years and has owned her shop for 3 years, she’s super personable as well.
Love the atmosphere of this place .. will definitely be back! I came to nails Beautique after a friend suggested since she knew I was trying to find a new nail home especially for events and when I say they did not disappoint me they did not! Very pleased with my nails Tuan was excellent and very thorough also answered any questions I had to put me at ease thanks so much!! ????????
The reviews seem bought. I gave photo examples of what I wanted, a dark matte green with an accent ombré on the ring. Simple paint. Tech was late, I did not get an ombré, I got block color. There was no blending or true ombré as asked. The young lady who set up my appointment told me it would be base 40$ without add ons. The tech tried to charge me 80$(without tax). The color is uneven, with polish on my skin, my cuticles were not touched during prep., the brush strokes are obvious, the gel is too thick and uneven - just over all just bad nails. Once I brought this to his attention, he charged me only $55 (the rate it was supposed to be). I gave him a tip but I regret coming. I should of asked for a refund. Now I’m stuck looking like this.
Tuan at Nails Beautique and Spa did extremely well turning the photo I showed him for reference into what I wanted. It was the first time i’ve gotten my nails done in years so I was a bit nervous but they turned out pretty good! The atmosphere inside the salon is inviting and comfortable and the decor is super cute! I will definitely be returning in the future!
1.) It's BYOP Handed a swatch of colors. Picks polish # 1 - We don't have it Polish # 2 - We don't have that Polish # 3 - If we don't have it we don't have it. 2.) Leave with no polish, still charged for gel polish. 3.) Sometimes they are all super nice... other times all of them are rude and you never know which day it will be.
