I’ve been taking my cats to Elm Point Animal Hospital for almost 3 years now and they are always hitting the mark! My cats used to see Dr. Lange, but closer to his retirement, they started seeing Dr. Petty! Both Doctors are so kind, patient and loving with my cats, and have never made my babies feel bad for being shy, scared or uncooperative. I’ve had both my cats neutered at Elm Point and during both those times, I received multiple post surgery follow up calls to see how they were doing, which is so awesome! I will continue to bring my current & future babies here! :)
If I could, I'd give this place a -5 ⭐ rating. I called this place, (I won't dignify it by calling it a "hospital "), because my cat was having a problem breathing. He was breathing through his mouth, his breath hitching every few minutes. This place was suppose to be open until 8. At 6:30 the person who answered told me that the doctor was getting ready to leave. That he was finishing up with a few patients and then wouls be gone. When I pressed about the time, she stated that often open without a doctor present. And that this doctor did not want to be delayed leaving by having an emergency come in. I live less than 2 minutes away from this place. But she thought the best thing to do was drive to an emergency clinic 30 minutes away. Which is what I did do. That clinic saw my cat right away. Yes it was pricey. But we left with him breathing better after a shot of antibiotics and we went home with meds for him to take. The prognosis? Pneumonia with asthma as an underlying issue. He could have died that night because this so called Vet and hospital couldn't be bothered. I wouldn't suggest going to this sorry excuse of a animal hospital to my worst enemy. A complaint to the BBB is in the works.
Had grooming appointment at 11am. Got there at 10h45, checked in right away and sat down to wait for someone to come get my dog. 10 minutes after, still waiting, another guy comes in also for a grooming appointment and 2 minutes later they come get his dog. 11h35 comes in and still nothing, so I just got up and left.
