After a really terrible experience with my son at another place I was pleasantly surprised by Hawthorn Dental’s bedside manner and approach to children who don’t like the Dentist. Katie was terrific.
I would definitely NOT recommend this dentist office to anyone!!! In the process of getting a crown they sent me twice to Fenton to get an exact color match. I live in Lake St Louis so it was quite a way for me to go, plus it didn’t match either time. The third time they sent me to St Charles and it was perfect. I have no idea why I couldn’t have gone there first but in the process of taking the temporary crown off the assistant chipped the tooth next to it. I was under the impression that they would fix that tooth and I would not be charged. They did fix it but they also sent me a bill for it. Since I made it aware that I wasn’t supposed to pay for it I got a nasty letter from them saying that I would have to find a new dentist that they could no longer help me!!!Just know if you go there you can never disagree with them or you will be looking for a new dentist too!!!!
I have been going to Hawthorn Dental for years. The staff is great. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful. Chris is the best Hygienist I have ever seen. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new dentist
I have severe anxiety with the dentist. And after moving to a new city, I was apprehensive about a new dentist as well. But Dr. Hartman and his assistant Katie were amazing. Very attentive to my individual needs and thorough. Also eased a lot of my fears. Katie never left my side from the minute I got into the chair for my filling and tried to find the source for my anxiety to make me more comfortable. They make a good team. Thank you.
