After posting my review, I was contacted by Jonathan and my issue was resolved. Pat came out and covered the damaged area with sod. He was very polite and professional. I am satisfied with the outcome. HOPE YOU NEVER HAVE A PROBLEM!! While the crews are polite and hard working, the office management is non-existant! Have to wonder if the owner understands that his manager will not return phone calls or address issues. When they bought the lawn service I used to use, I tried staying with Green RX..but confused salespeople in the office, and failing to deliver what was promised is why I left. My neighbor kept them, and no problems until this (ref. picture) One of the crew on a riding mower, took it into my lawn on a steep hill while the grass was wet. He slid off into my mulch, scraping away grass in a very hard to grow part of the lawn. Josh was terrific in explaining who to contact, and trying to fix the situation. Unfortunately, he referred me to the manager, who refused to take my calls, and has not called me back...as he said he would through the receptionist. I have gone from a customer, to an ex-customer, to now telling everyone I know not to use this company!
We were trying to take care of our lawn ourselves. We were not having any luck with the weeds and grass. I called a supplier that we use and they recommended this company. I called and talked to the man who answered, I don't remember his name, but I talk to him about the issues that we are having and what the cost would be for the services that I was looking for. After talking about it, I decided that I would have them take of only the front yard. He spoke of the different visits (rounds) and what they do at each. I was told that each visit (round) would be $40. I was also told that since I had an irrigation system that they would do my seeding and aeration early, so I can water. Early to me would of been in Mid Sept to early Oct. Not the case. My sprinkler system was winterized a week before they came out and did the over seeding and aeration. After the appointment, I got a bill for $190. This was not told to me on phone when discussing prices. Also, when looking at my yard after they overseeded and aerated, the tech completely missed the area around my mailbox. There was no seed in that area, but was needed. It is all dirt in the area that needs grass. Also on another visit. I saw the tech arrive and get out the materials that he needed. He sprayed my front yard and then dopped little black seed like stuff in the yard. He completely missed my left side of my front yard and again the area around my mail box. I have since canceled my services and now still owe $190. I wish who I had talked to when scheduling services would of told me this is what they charge for over seeding and aeration, I would of passed.
The pre-emergent weed control and fertilizer treatments killed my zoysia sod. They do not return phone calls asking for an explanation and a proposal for compensation or repair. This issue is not resolved. Promised corrective actions not performed as of 7/6/21. Reneged on installing replacement sod. Promised financial compensation two weeks ago. As of 7/22/21 no action by Green Rx of any kind. Promised to "hand deliver" a check twice. No check, no explanation, no integrity. See photos below of my Green Rx lawn. My experience was the same as that reported by Lynn Hennessy. I reported Greenrx to the Better Business Bureau and Greenrx told the BBB that they would refund my two payments but they never did.
