First timer... Fantastic thin crust pizza, at a fantastic price. It has all of the great things you'd expect. While I like a quality thicker crust too (dough quality reigns there), sometimes it's all about the sauce and toppings. This is the perfect example for all thin crust pizza to emulate. I tried a "Jasper" with spicy Italian chicken sausage and mushrooms. It did not disappoint. The staff today is really cool, and patient with out-of-towners who are undecided (like me), and the music is a tasteful six-decade mix, without being obnoxious. Round two, a week later, did not disappoint. A little busier this time, and the crew was just as cool as the first visit. Consistency gets a five-star rating. I tried another "Jasper" but added black olives and pepperoni. The blackberry lemonade is awesome, too. I'm definitely onto something. This may become my new Monday normal dinner when I'm in this area.
Have always wanted to try this place. Looked up the review for the one in Maryland Heights which is way closer to us, but their reviews were horrible. After reading this stores though and needing to make a trip for our Christmas tree. Anyways we got there right before the rush hit. They got pretty busy and handled it well. They tip share which sucks so I left ten so they could all have a couple bucks, there were five working. We got the combos those who got the salads wish they had gotten pizza instead, not that they aren't good, but what they are for $10 bucks and a soda the better deal is to go with the pizza.
If you are looking for a place that you can get a highly customizable pizza, Mod is the right choice. It is very likely that you will find a pizza that you love at MOD, they have a high selection of fresh ingredients or you can choose one of the many pre-existing recipes, some are not common but like I said it can be customized.
